Multidirectional dynamic penetration test of rock mass using RPD.

Contributes to the labor-saving and efficiency of rock mass investigation drilling! Tests can be conducted in vertical, inclined, or horizontal directions.

The "Multi-Directional Dynamic Penetration Test of Rock Mass Using RPD" is a dynamic penetration testing method that allows for simultaneous measurement of the continuous impact penetration resistance (P value) in horizontal and inclined directions of rock mass, as well as the collection of core samples, utilizing a rotary percussion drill. Only the test specifications using a medium-sized RPD or large RPD with a PS-WL (Percussion Wireline Sampler) at the drilling tip can collect core samples while measuring the P value simultaneously. Additionally, it can be applied to unconsolidated ground such as cohesive soils, sands, and gravel, as well as cement-treated ground. 【Features】 ■ The P value has a good correlation with conventional sounding test results such as N values and unconfined compressive strength (qu), making it useful as an indicator for understanding continuous changes in soil hardness and softness, as well as estimating soil physical properties such as strength characteristics. ■ The P value can be determined from the penetration time required for the drilling tip to penetrate the ground to any desired depth, along with the RPD's impact, rotation, and feed hydraulic pressure (measured by the control panel's indicators) at that time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Simple Standard Penetration Test (commonly known as Portable Penetration Test)

Casual standard penetration tests on the mountain.

【Background and Necessity】 ● In mountainous areas, transporting drilling equipment and circulation water for foundation surveys of transmission towers, wind measurement towers, and landslide-prone slopes incurs significant costs and time (helicopter, monorail). 【Product Overview】 (Patent No. 6619235: November 2019) ● Survey - Standard penetration test (JIS A-1219) fully compliant - Standard penetration tests conducted every 50 cm - Continuous core sampling (using a sampler for standard penetration tests) - No drilling water required - Friction around the sampler eliminated by the reaming barrel ● Equipment Transport - Total weight of the machine is 300 kg (including rods (10 m), excluding casing, etc.) - Can be transported by a one-box car - Transported on mountain roads using a crawler (150 kg load capacity, maximum incline: 30 degrees) ● No need for temporary workspaces *Please also see the leaflet.

Electric cone penetration test

Based on the measured data, it is possible to understand the stratification, the consolidation conditions of soft ground, confirm the effects of ground improvement, and determine liquefaction!

We would like to introduce the "Electric Cone Penetration Test (CPTU)" offered by Soil and Rock Engineering Co., Ltd. This test is a type of static sounding test that simultaneously measures three components: cone penetration resistance (qc), sleeve friction (fs), and pore water pressure (u) by attaching a cone to the tip of a rod. The penetration device is used to statically penetrate the ground, allowing for continuous measurement of ground information. Compared to boring surveys, this method enables rapid and detailed understanding of the mechanical and physical properties in situ. Additionally, our electric cone allows for continuous measurement of the wet density (ρt) and moisture content (ρm) during penetration by utilizing radioisotopes (RI). 【Features】 ■ Based on the measured data, it is possible to understand stratification, the consolidation status of soft ground, verify ground improvement effects, and assess liquefaction potential. ■ By using a dedicated penetration vehicle (with a maximum penetration force of 164 kN), it can penetrate ground with an N value of about 20 that does not contain large gravel or a significant amount of gravel. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Screw weight penetration test

Static penetration of the survey rod into the ground! We will determine the ground resistance value from the rotation speed and penetration amount.

We would like to introduce our "Screw Weight Penetration Test." This method allows for continuous measurement of delicate data from soft ground, and the investigation equipment is compact, making it suitable for narrow sites, such as those for single-family homes and other lightweight structures. The investigation method involves inserting a survey rod with a screw tip into the ground statically, from which the ground resistance value is determined based on the rotation speed and penetration amount. 【Features】 ■ Continuous measurement of delicate data from soft ground ■ Compact investigation equipment that can be used in narrow sites ■ Suitable for investigating lightweight structures such as single-family homes *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
